Job Description – Grind Operator 3rd Shift Job: As a Grind Operator on the 3rd shift, you will play an essential role in BD’s manufacturing process. Your primary responsibility will be processing cannula through grinding operations to ensure product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload cannula into grinding machines.
• Perform grinding operations and inspect products for quality.
• Identify and remove defective products.
• Record inspection and production data.
• Monitor equipment performance and notify set-up technicians for repairs.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and assist with major repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow BD quality standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications for Grind Operator 3rd Shift Job:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• If no diploma, two years of manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Work Schedule:

• 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (CT).
• On-site position at BD Columbus West facility.
