Job Responsibilities:
As a Finishing Line Team Member II – 1st Shift, you will play an integral part in the powder coat process, working in an assembly-line environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Assessment: Determine project requirements, such as assembly sequences and methods, based on blueprints, drawings, and instructions.
- Precision Work: Accurately measure, mark, and lay out materials according to specifications using tools like calculators, scribes, and rulers.
- Packaging: Efficiently package each product by applying cardboard, stickers, and necessary labeling.
- Quality Checks: Maintain consistent quality checks to identify inefficiencies or defects in the production line.
- General Duties: Assist in other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency is necessary. Experience with RF guns in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, bend, and twist throughout the workday, as well as lift between 50-85lbs regularly.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively within a team setting.
- Cross-Functional Skills: Experience operating machinery such as forklifts and cherry pickers is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with computer systems and RF guns.
- Ability to handle multiple job assignments and machinery.
