Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls and email inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Update and maintain customer information in the database.

  • Handle customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Print shipping labels and assist with order shipments.
  • Educate customers on product differences and purchasing options.

Advanced Responsibilities (Level II & III)

  • Process wholesale and corporate gift orders.
  • Handle order payments, refunds, and shipment claims with carriers.
  • Manage Cheese Club and Mini-Wholesale accounts.
  • Train new customer service representatives.
  • Represent the company at festivals and special events.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Food Handler’s Certificate (obtainable within 30 days of hire).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Office and warehouse setting.
  • Occasional exposure to cold temperatures and chemicals.
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. occasionally.
  • Full-time position with potential for overtime and weekend shifts.
