### *Principles and Essential Duties:* – Respect *Kaiser Permanente* regulations, rules, and policies
Take care of phone reception, message takers, staffing, scheduling, payroll, and timecard recording, among other secretarial tasks. – Help members access medical treatments.
Provide excellent customer service and foster positive relationships with the public, patients, and staff. Use computerized systems to enter and retrieve member data. Track and schedule member appointments. Help with quality improvement projects as needed. Order and maintain equipment and supplies. Use proper medical terminology and format for documents, research papers, and data compilation. Support other tasks as needed.

### *Eligibility* – 45 words per minute typing speed (or as the medical center requires)
– A minimum of two years of experience in a related office setting – The capacity to write and editcommunications effectively
Strong communication skills both in writing and speaking; a high school degree or GED is necessary; familiarity with medical language is preferred.
