*Concerning the Position*
Your primary duty as a *Warehouse Material Handler* is to complete customer orders by gathering and stacking particular goods onto pallets. In order to make sure that every item is properly arranged and carried safely, you will walk throughout the warehouse. Your contributions will contribute to keeping the warehouse environment precise, efficient, and safe.
*Pay Range:* Depending on experience, $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
Principal Accountabilities:
– Retrieve and arrange product cases onto pallets in the manner specified on the computer screen or pick ticket.
Move product pallets safely between different parts of the warehouse by utilizing a pallet jack or other powered industrial truck (PIT).
– Assist with keeping the warehouse tidy and organized.
* Check PIT equipment every day and notify management of any problems.
– Adjust any incorrect product or quantity information as advised by the checker.
– Complete several errands to help the warehouse run efficiently. *Necessary Knowledge and Skills:*
– The capacity to lift up to 75 pounds while working in a fast-paced atmosphere.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
– Well-organized and productive when managing warehouse operations.
Capable of reading from a computer screen and adhering to directions.
– Careful observation of product packaging details.
– A readiness to operate in an uncontrolled, noisy, and cold (summer and winter) environment.
– Self-driven and proactive in assuming responsibilities.
*Required Minimums:*
A maximum of 12 months of professional experience.
– A pallet jack operator’s PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification.
*Suitable Experience:*
A GED or high school diploma.
– Previous knowledge of warehouse operations.
