Under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will work one-on-one with children as a *Behavior Technician*, carrying out behavior intervention strategies. *What You’re Going to Do:*
– Putting into practice customized behavior intervention programs that a BCBA has designed.
– imparting social, communication, and everyday life skills.
– Reducing problematic behaviors by employing strategies supported by research.
– Closely collaborating to assist the development of kids and their families.
– Exerting yourself physically while working, which may involve crouching, walking, standing, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
*What We’re Seeking*:
– A strong desire to support kids with autism.
– Consistency, empathy, and excellent collaboration abilities.
– A GED or high school diploma, at least 18 years old.
– Capability to acquire a tuberculosis test, CPR certification, and first aid training.
Capacity to clear a background investigation.
– The physical capacity to lift 50 pounds and move in a variety of situations.
*Pay Range*: between $19 and $24 per hour.
